Dakota Engineering is a specialty engineering company, providing engineering services mainly to tribal-sponsored projects on Native American Reservations. The subsidiary was formed in 2001, from a unique partnership between majority owner Edward H. Hall and the KLJ Solutions Company. Ed Hall has more than 30 years of experience in management, engineering, and tribal consulting. Acting as project manager for Dakota Engineering, Ed works directly with tribal councils, the Bureau of Indian Affairs and other Native American agencies to ensure project consensus and project development. Some of Dakota Engineering's clients include: Ogala Sioux Tribe, Cheyenne River Sioux, Spirit Lake Tribe, Standing Rock Sioux, Rosebud Sioux Tribe, and the Three Affiliated Tribes.
